About TN Security Review
Independent reviews, expert analysis, and professional resources for Tennessee's security services industry.
Our Mission
TN Security Review exists to help Tennessee businesses and property owners make informed decisions when hiring security service providers. The private security industry lacks the transparency that consumers expect in other professional services, and that gap can lead to costly mistakes.
We conduct thorough, independent evaluations of security companies operating across Tennessee. Our reviews examine licensing compliance, guard training standards, technology capabilities, pricing transparency, and real-world performance. Every assessment follows a consistent methodology developed by our team of industry veterans.
We are not affiliated with any security company, and we do not accept payment for reviews. Our revenue comes from advertising and guide downloads, never from the companies we evaluate.
Our Review Methodology
Licensing Verification
We verify every company's active licensing status with TDCI and confirm insurance coverage meets industry standards.
On-Site Evaluation
Our reviewers conduct site visits and observe guard operations, professionalism, and adherence to post orders.
Client Interviews
We interview current and former clients to understand real-world service delivery, responsiveness, and satisfaction levels.
Technology Assessment
We evaluate reporting tools, monitoring systems, and client communication platforms against industry benchmarks.
